Harper’s Garden Centre

The known mental and physical health benefits of gardening have never been so significant during these unprecedented times.

Gardening and plants have given our community hope and sanctuary.

These benefits provide us the opportunity to open Harper’s Garden Centre, while following the COVID-19 Guidelines set in place by the Province.

During this time Harper’s will continue to:

  • Encourages its customers to use this time to focus on the importance of gardening and sustainability.
  • Provide families ways to connect with the environment during these difficult times.
  • Remind each other that a glimpse of hope and happiness can come from the smallest seeds you may plant in your garden.

While Visiting Harper’s Garden Centre

The safety of our staff and customers is held in the utmost importance. The following actions and guidelines have been put in place:

  • A 50 person limit (including staff) has been put into place, as our garden centre is largely located outdoors. Social distancing measures will be put into place for those waiting to enter the garden centre.
  • We ask that there is a 2 person limit per family while shopping, and that no children under the age of 16 come into the store. We also ask that you leave your furry animal friends at home until this has subsided.
  • Harper’s kindly asks our customers to adhere to the guidelines set in place by the Province. If you have traveled outside of the country in the last 14 days, please remain at home and self isolate. If you have been in contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19, please remain at home.
  • Extensive protocols have been put into the place to ensure social distancing is being maintained by customers and staff. Customers must comply and adhere to the visual cues and signage to maintain your distance at all times.
  • Harper’s has enhanced and expanded its sanitation practices.
  • Carts will be sanitized after each use.
  • Payment terminals will be sanitized after every transaction.  Cash will be accepted but we will discourage customers from using it.
  •  Harper’s still encourages our customers to shop with us online and choose curb-side pickup or delivery.
