Here are some answers to the most common questions we in the Tropical Department get asked:
Q: When do I water my tropical plant(s)? Once a week?

A: There is no set rule for when a tropical plant requires water. The best ‘rule of thumb’ is to periodically dig into the soil with your finger about 1 inch down. If the soil feels cool, the plant is still moist. When the soil feels dry, water it accordingly and moderately; you do not want to drown your plant. Once you get to know your tropical plant, you will begin to recognize how the weather and the different seasons play a big role in when the tropical plant needs watering next.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask our Tropical Department staff. Tropical plants are very beautiful, but many find are hard to maintain. If you find to have the same experience; it will be our pleasure to show you how to properly grow and maintain them.
